Pastor Cedric Chintembo

Pastor Cedric Chintembo was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where he discovered his love for God and passion for sharing the Gospel at a young age. He has served in a variety of ministry roles, including church pastor, chaplain, youth director, evangelist, and intern pastor in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and the United States.
Pastor Cedric completed his Master of Divinity (MDiv) at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Michigan. Over the years, he has ministered in multicultural and multigenerational urban settings, guided youth, trained leaders, and nurtured members through preaching, pastoral care, and innovative ministry initiatives.
Currently, Pastor Cedric serves as the pastor of the Petersburg, Yale, and Ford Seventh-day Adventist Churches in the Richmond, Virginia area. He is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus, equipping disciples for service, and reaching communities with the hope of the Gospel. He delights in seeing lives transformed as individuals embrace Christ and take their place in God’s Kingdom.
Pastor Cedric's favorite verse is Acts 17:26-27 "From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us."
Pastor Cedric is married to Tina, and together they are blessed with two children, Brooke and Barry. The Chintembo family treasures faith, family, and community, and they remain committed to serving God and encouraging His people in Richmond and beyond.
